As an artist I make my living selling my photos and greeting cards at art shows and galleries. Due to the current circumstances art shows are being canceled and galleries/retail shops are closing. For how long, who knows....but I do know that shopping for amazing art can be done from the comfort of your home.
I have a lot of artist friends, too, that are being hit hard. Some of these folks below sell their art part-time or just for fun, but many are also full-time artists like myself and looking for a way to stay afloat as we all must learn to adapt for the health and safety of everyone. I've created an online Virtual Art Show so you can see the amazing work of just a handful of artists I know. If you don't see something here that you might be looking for, PLEASE reach out to me...most likely I know an artist out there that you would enjoy getting to know.
In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy and enjoy the many perks of shopping online.

I work in both digital and film based photography, but I shoot film now for the very qualities that when we shot film (back then) were considered qualities to be avoided. I'm not looking for some sort of Ultimate Quality in film, I'm looking for an aesthetic quality, that incorporates the Japanese ideas of mono no aware, wabi, and yūgen. It is the realization that perfection is not beauty and that it is our “flaws” that make us beautiful. Our hesitations, our censorships, are frequently self imposed limits based on our misconceptions of what we see in ourselves. |

Jessie Cargas - MetalWeld Made Art Works
In my late 40's, I began to design and construct metal sculptures, many which have rolls, twists or bends. I create turn-abouts, which are sculptures that can be physically turned and as a result, can be viewed with a new perspective. With each sculpture, I begin with a certain concept that often takes a new direction during the creation process. Current works include table top and book shelf sculptures, larger indoor and outdoor sculptures, and wall hangings. The Turn-About sculptures are sculptures that stand on their own, turn it another way, and it presents itself with a new look. |

Darla's desire is to illustrate that beauty in her art. |

Mollie Chounard - PaintingMollie Chounard Fine Art
I’m a St. Louis artist trying to turn my passion for storytelling and painting into a career. I came up with the term ‘conceptual surrealism’ to describe the art I strive to create. I love creating things that are naturalistic but too fantastic to be realistic - that’s the Surrealistic part. The conceptual side comes from my belief that every painting should impart something or tells a story. If you know how to listen all of my work has something to say! |
Tresa Killion - ClayKillion Pottery
I have been making pottery since 1996 when I was in college and working as an apprentice for a master potter. My work is all made with a stoneware clay, it is Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher safe. I pride myself in the quality of work that I produce, it is durable and thin enough to be used on an every day basis. When someone says they use my pottery all the time I feel no greater pleasure! My desire is for the pottery to become a part of your family and friendship memories as it is used to serve or cook your special food creations. God Bless |

St. Louis pastel artist Lisa Crisman's work is bold, vibrant, fun and exciting! Don't let the term "pastel" fool you. Pastels are chalk like sticks of pure pigment, which Crisman takes full advantage of in her bright and vivid paintings. Crisman's award winning work has been acknowledged in numerous local and national juried fine art exhibitions. Crisman's work has been described as "Van Gogh meets Munch", "Vivid and Expressive!" and "a new and contemporary take on the landscape." She grew up in an idyllic, small town, Bowling Green, Missouri. Crisman, a third generation artist, states "Being creative has always been a vital part of my life. I made my own paper dolls as a child and was constantly drawing, coloring and making things. Being an artist is a passion and dream come true for me, it's in my blood." |
Bob AuBuchon - PaintingArt of AuBuchon
Welcome to the world of "Art of AuBuchon" where "Everyone needs a little abstract in their life." I see abstract painting a bit like life ... sometimes it makes no sense and other times it still makes no sense. As you look through my art I think you will find it simple because I simply love putting the paint on the canvas to see what it might become. I find my inspiration through the works of many of the modern abstract artists out there in the world on social media and the internet. I read, watch and learn from others styles and descriptions of their work. I am enriched by the voices of others. |
Kathy Likos - JewelryLikos Metal and Stone Jewelry
I have a fondness for colorful rocks, shiny metal, and making things with my hands. Naturally, I have developed into a jewelry artisan. I joke with others telling them that making jewelry is my therapy; but it really is! Designing and making beautiful things to wear out of stone and metal is my creative endeavor to combine the things I love. The creative process, which includes choosing the right stone, sketching my ideas, using a saw, hammer, and flame to manipulate metal, and finishing a piece into a tangible thing to be admired, shared and worn, provides balance in my life. |

Patti Zieche Davisson - JewelryPZ Originals
Pat has always had a fascination with rocks and gems. After meeting a wire wrap artist at a gem and mineral show, she enrolled in a class at William Holland Lapidary School in Young Harris, GA. Two years later, she advanced in the artform to the point she was invited back to teach classes in wire wrapping. Pat has chosen this form of jewelry making (which pre-dates casting), because of the immediacy and flexibility in creating individual jewelry pieces. These pieces include setting faceted stones and cabochons, working with solid 14K, 14K gold-fill, and sterling silver. |
Pattie Garrett - PaintingPattie Garrett
I'm a farm girl at heart, and my love of Nature and wonders of life are reflected in my paintings, primarily landscapes. I paint with oils, with a soft, reflective style. The wet-on-wet technique suits my style best. I am largely self-taught. My mother was a ceramics artisan and dad was a woodworkervand carpenter. They both taught me about patience in the suit of perfection. |
Norma Marshall - Jewelry & PaintingFeather Hill Arts
I live on ten acres of woods in what I describe as the “Oak Grove Ozarks”, hence Feather Hill. While I was working on my Masters Degree in Art Education I took a class at CMU and was introduced to enameling. I have been enameling for 20 years and still find it an exciting and rewarding medium with so many possibilities! The rich shine and depth of color, the addition of interesting and unusual beads, developing new techniques, keeps my imagination interested and inspired. I constantly strive for fine craftsmanship and distinctive designs. I have created a style of enameling that can be recognized! |

Whether I am creating a custom stained glass piece for a clients home, or manipulating glass in the heat of a 1700 degree kiln, I am at home in the studio. In 2008, I opened my St. Charles studio Art Glass Array to the public where I teach others the skills of warm glass. My designs are inspired by the shapes and textures of nature, the lines of architecture, the depth of the human form. Working layer by layer, I feel these forms connect flawlessly with glass. |
Danya Roselle - JewelryDanya Roselle Handcrafted Jewelry
Since 1994 Danya Roselle has been creating one of a kind designs which reflect the beauty of the world around us. Following her graduation from Lincoln University her ongoing investigations into her craft have helped her work to continually evolve. With original designs which are evocative of natural elements, the handcrafted items are made from silver and other metals which are often used in combination with a variety of well-selected stones, clays, beads, and foreign coins. Her unique, meticulously crafted jewelry pieces exhibit a personal touch. The artist believes that each individual creation potentially offers, "a piece of her soul", and strives to reveal this quality in her jewelry. |
Matthew Piper - PhotographyMatthew Piper Photography
It has been absolutely thrilling to return to my love of fine art photography. My main focus is on single-exposure color infrared photographs. To shoot infrared, I had LifePixel remove the internal infrared filter, making my Canon 6D full-spectrum. I shoot with various L-series lenses and a range of filters to achieve various effects. I do very little manipulation of my images; my editing process is generally a few minutes per image. It is the special camera system and filters I use that creates the unique palette of hues in my photographs. In this way, my work is more an example of the evolution of traditional photography than it is “digital art.” I think of my work as “dreamscapes,” or as still photography’s version of “magical realism.” Photographing already beautiful locations in color infrared gives them a surreal quality that takes the artwork to a new expressive level. |
Susie Rogers - JewelryShow-Me Gold and Silver
Susie Rogers has been working as a professional bench jeweler since 1995. Her passion lies in the process of forming and forging precious metals into wearable art. Many of her creative designs breathe new life for sterling silver flatware by transforming the pieces into unique cuff bracelets or unique hand wrought guitar pendants. This has brought her to be placed in collections in Missouri and Texas. Many of her current designs blend current elements such as stone, fossils and various metals. Silver, gold, stainless steel, wrapped, hand forged or soldered with natural components |

Whimsy is in the heart & soul of my artwork. I take many of life’s “wabi sabi” & create bits of joy for both wholesale & retail sales. Collectors have been purchasing these little guys for years & feeling the love that I infuse in each piece. |
Lee Richards - JewelryDzingz On You
As an artist I find myself drawn to shape and form and texture. I find the play of metal wire against a natural element, extremely appealing. I strive to create a fluid or playful form from the rigid wire and stone or glass. I enjoy the challenge of seeing possibilities in elements that we take for granted. I like the idea of taking a surprising element like a sea-worn piece of shell or weathered glass as the base for some of my pieces. However, sometimes the clean look of shiny glass or a gemstone cab is what is needed for the piece I have in mind. |
Grant Kniffen - PaintingGrant Kniffen
I use acrylic painting to explore American themes with early 20th century Modernist sensibilities. I hope to engage the viewer with my narrative and then entice then to “hang around” and enjoy the formal qualities of the work. |
Don Kelley - JewelryKelarts
I sculpt forks. As a jeweler/artist I make fine jewelry from vintage silver dinner forks by sculpting and shaping them around natural stones. Today daughters and granddaughters can wear grandma’s silverware. A few years ago while at a dinner gathering I was staring at a silver dinner fork and I was struck with the idea that it would be a better bracelet than a fork. From that moment I began creating jewelry from vintage silver forks. Customers now give me their family forks for family members to wear. |

When my older sisters and I were little mother would say before she went into town, “Mama will bring you one thing from the store. What would you like?” My reply was always “coloring books without pictures in them.” Growing up on a farm provided a bounty of inspiration to fill fresh pages. The big red barn was my hangout. The fields and woods my playground and there was always a variety of animal friends. Play time developed into a passion for this rural way of life and is the soul of my art. I work on three to four paintings at a time. Using color and expressive brush work, country vistas and animal personalities come alive on canvas. I invite you to come along and enjoy a moment in this artistic rural life. |

Vaughan Nelson - ClayOne Blue Marble
Like a lot of people art, for me is a way to express myself using something other than words. To be able to make people feel and think without speaking is my goal. I do believe that I can affect someone with my work, whether it is to bring a smile to their face or to evoke criticism from them. I strive to create beauty that is not based on perfection and try to maintain an organic feel to my work. Rough edges, irregular shapes and imperfect circles are where I find beauty, and my work shows these qualities. My work begs to be touched due to the textural effect of the glazes I use. |

The environment I live in, the places I go to, they all carry inspirational power over me. I just love diving into gorgeous colors with a big paintbrush or palette knife. It is satisfying slopping it directly onto the large canvas and starting to play. The best outcome always comes from an emotional place, when my brain gets turned off and my heart on. It’s like being led by a power outside me if I allow it in. |
